The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) put the average inflation rate in the twelve-month period that ended on September 22, which marks the end of the sixth Iranian calendar month of the Iranian year 1401, at 42.1 percent, 0.6 percentage points more from the figure for the twelve-month period that ended on the last day of the month before. 

The center put the country’s point-to-point inflation rate at 49.7 percent in the sixth month of this year that is 2.5 percentage points less than in the month before. Point-to-Point means that families have paid an average of 49,7 percent more for purchasing the same package of commodities and services in that month, compared to the same month in the year be­fore. The point-to-point inflation in the major group of “food, be­ve­rages and tobacco” was 75.4 percent with a decrease of 5.0 percentage points in comparison with the previous month..

Eurostat:   EU27-Iran foreign trade from January till July 2022 generated 2,992  mil­­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 2,353 million Euro (+11%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 639 million (+34%). Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 1,059 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (381 million Euro) and the Netherlands (242 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first seven month of the year 2022 stood at 2,353 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 11% com­­pared to January-July 2021. Ac­­cor­­­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 

38% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth 885 mil­­lion Euro, that was 3% more than in the first seven month of the year 2021. Second (12%)  was Italy with ex­ports worth 279 mil­­li­on Euro (+11%), fol­lowed by the Nether­lands (204 mil­lion Euro, -18%) and France (196 million Euro, +67%)

From January till July 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 639 mil­li­on Euro from Iran (+34%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (27%) went to Ger­­­many, which im­ported goods worth 174 mil­­lion Euro from Iran (+6%), fol­­lowed by Italy (102 mi­l­li­on Euro, 7%), Spain (78 million Euro, +62%), Romania (59 million Euro, +68%) and Bul­ga­ria (54 million Euro, +111%).

Von Januar bis Juli 2022 erreichte der deutsch-iranische Außenhandel einen Wert von 1.072 Millio­nen Euro und lag damit im Ver­gleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum 4% höher.  Deutsch­land lieferte Wa­­­ren im Wert von 885 Milli­o­nen Euro (3%); die iranischen Lie­fe­run­gen nach Deutschand  lagen mit 187 Mio. Euro 4% höher als im Vorjahreszeitraum.

Wichtigste Warengruppen bei den deutschen Lieferungen nach Iran in den ersten sieben Monaten des Jahres 2022 wa­­­­ren Ge­treide (268 Mio. Euro), obwohl Deutschland im Juli kein Getreide an Iran lieferte, Ma­­­schi­­nen, Apparate und mechanische Geräte (171 Mio. Eu­ro), pharma­zeu­ti­sche Er­­zeug­nissen (96 Mio. Euro),  opti­sche, pho­to­­gra­fi­sche usw. Er­zeug­­nisse (62 Mio. Eu­ro), ge­folgt von elek­tro­­tech­­ni­schen Er­zeug­nissen (43 Mio. Euro), Tabak (38 Mio. Euro), und verschiedenen Erzeugnissen der chemischen Industrie (33 Mio. Euro).

Die iranischen Liefe­run­gen nach Deutschland von Januar bis Juli 2022 setz­ten sich u.a. zu­sam­­men aus ge­niess­baren Früch­­­­­­­ten und Nüssen im Wert von 61 Mio. Eu­­ro, an­de­­ren Waren tie­­ri­schen Ur­­­­­­­sprungs (Häu­te und Schafs­­därme, 40 Mio. Eu­ro), Perlen, Edel­stei­nen, Edelmetallen (20 Mio. Euro), sowie Teppi­chen (16 Mio. Euro) und pharma­zeu­­ti­schen Er­zeug­­­nis­sen (14 Mio Eu­ro),
