Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade from January till July 2022 generated 2,992 million Euro.
The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 2,353 million Euro (+11%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 639 million (+34%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,059 million Euro, followed by Italy (381 million Euro) and the Netherlands (242 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first seven month of the year 2022 stood at 2,353 million Euro, an increase of 11% compared to January-July 2021. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union,
38% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 885 million Euro, that was 3% more than in the first seven month of the year 2021. Second (12%) was Italy with exports worth 279 million Euro (+11%), followed by the Netherlands (204 million Euro, -18%) and France (196 million Euro, +67%)
From January till July 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 639 million Euro from Iran (+34%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (27%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 174 million Euro from Iran (+6%), followed by Italy (102 million Euro, 7%), Spain (78 million Euro, +62%), Romania (59 million Euro, +68%) and Bulgaria (54 million Euro, +111%).
