Eurostat:   EU27-Iran Foreign trade in the year 2021 generated 4,863 mil­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 3,941 million Euro (+5%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 922 million (+29%). Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 1,724 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (629 million Euro) and the Ne­ther­lands (482 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the year 2021 stood at 3,941 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 5% com­­pared to the year 2020. Ac­cor­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 37% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth € 1,449 million, that was 6% less than in the year 2020. Second (11%) was Italy with ex­ports worth € 450 mil­­li­on  (-20%), fol­lowed by the Netherlands (€ 443 million, +22%) and Romania (€ 344 million, +572%).

In the year 2021 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 922 mil­li­on from Iran (+29%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (30%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 275 mil­­lion from Iran (+4%), fol­­lowed by Italy (€ 179 mi­l­li­on, +68%)  and Spain (€ 97 million, +73%), Romania (€ 68 million, +124%) and Belgium (€ 67 million, +103%).
