Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in January to July 2024 generated 2,772 million Euro (+3%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 2,268 million Euro (+2%) to Iran and imported goods worth 504 million Euro (+5%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 880 million Euro, followed by Italy (437 million Euro) and the Netherlands (364 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first seven month of the year 2024 stood at 2,268 million Euro, an increase of 2% compared to January till July 2023. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 33% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 750 million Euro, that was 13% more than in the first seven month of the year 2023. Second (15%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 331 million Euro (+6%) followed by Italy (319 million Euro, -6%), Belgium (192 million Euro, +2%) and France (149 million Euro, -9%).
From January to July 2024 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 504 million Euro from Iran (+5%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (26%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 130 million Euro from Iran (-11%), followed by Italy (118 million Euro, +26%) and Spain (50 million Euro, -3%).
